I have lived in the Central Arkansas area all of my life and am familiar with the styles of homes in the area and associated issues. I began buying and renovating residential properties in 1996 and acquired a great deal of construction/remodeling experience in the last 25 plus years. In addition, I worked for a prominent Foundation Repair company as an Outside Sales Rep... inspecting over 1500 homes and proposing foundation repair plans and/or drainage solutions. I have extensive experience inspecting crawlspaces and know issues to look for. I also know what is professional work and what is not.
I received my Home Inspection training through ABC Home Inspection Institute in 2014 and then received hands-on training by attending other Home Inspector's inspections. I then passed the National Home Inspectors Examination and the ASHI Standards of Practice and Ethics exams. I have been a licensed Home Inspector in Arkansas since 2015 exceeding the required Continuing Education hours. I attend yearly in-class training provided by ABC Home Inspection Institute plus other courses from InterNACHI (the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors). In addition to being Licensed by the state of Arkansas, I am a Certified Professional Home Inspector with InterNACHI, and a Certified ASHI Inspector.
I use software that presents a very professional report which can be partially completed on site with a mobile device, although I may take pictures with notes and type the report later depending on time constraints. I typically will finish the report at home that evening to add the proper pictures and make any edits, etc. The report will be emailed to you and, with your permission, any other interested parties (Agents, etc.).
My goal is to satisfy you, the Client, and give you an unbiased, professional report that you can read without confusion. I try and keep the report straight to the point with applicable pictures. I will deliver the report via email within 24 hours. I am usually on site for 2 hours minimum performing the inspection. Usually, I recommend for the Client to be on site and follow me throughout the inspection.
The inspections are priced-based on square footage, whether the home has a crawlspace or is a slab, and age of the home. A home of 1200 sq feet on a slab will start at $300, that same square footage with a crawlspace will be $335. Contact for a quote.
